About Dacia
Dacia is known to many as the budget branch of Renault, but this has actually only been since 1999. Before that Dacia did use Renault-designed models. A lot of older Dacia modes are therefore thought of as cheap copies of Renault. It took until 2004 before Dacia introduced their first in-house designed model, the Logan. Luckily Renault did not change this recipe. The Logan was a big success in the countries of Eastern Europe and Russia. It was followed by the Sandero and Duster, that up to recently sold as well as the Logan. Soon Dacia will introduce an electric model based on the Sandero: the Spring.
