What do these error codes mean?

Error code P1564: Reduced Fueling Fault

This error code indicates a problem where the fuel pump has gone into emergency mode. This means that the engine is delivering less power to prevent further damage.

Symptoms: Reduced power, poorly running engine, warning light on the dashboard.
Cause: Internal electronic problems in the Bosch PSG5 or communication errors between the pump and the engine ECU.

Error code P1664: Injection Pump Control Module Fault

Error code P1664 indicates an internal fault in the EDU (Electronic Diesel Unit). This means that the unit itself is not functioning correctly or cannot provide correct feedback to the ECU.

Symptoms: The engine does not start or stalls while driving.
Cause: Faulty solder joints, damaged components or wear inside the Bosch PSG5.

Error code P1665: Injection Pump Control Module Communication Fault
