Cars equipped with the Easytronic F13 MTA and F17 MTA transmission systems may encounter error code P1607, in which the clutch actuator and the TCU (Transmission Control Unit) may be defective. The Easytronic system is a so-called robotized manual gearbox.
If the error code P1607 occurs in an Vauxhall, you may experience the following symptoms:
Tip: If the battery in an Vauxhall Meriva A model is defective, replacing the battery can solve the problem without further intervention.
Additional tip: Always check the CAN wiring in an Vauxhall Corsa C when this error code occurs, as a poor connection can cause a similar fault.
In many cases, the Easytronic faults can be solved by replacing the defective electronic components. ACTRONICS offers an effective overhaul solution where the TCU is thoroughly tested and fitted with new components to ensure a long service life and reliable operation. At ACTRONICS we overhaul the mechatronics and switching motors for this product. This often allows us to avoid a costly replacement of the entire system. Do you have any questions?
