Bosch GmbH, market leader in ABS systems, has launched various ABS units on the market over the years. The Bosch 5.3 is the predecessor of the better-known Bosch 5.7. The problems that occur with the Bosch 5.3 have specific symptoms and can be repaired by means of a revision solution from ACtronics.

In many cases, the ABS unit becomes defective due to temperature fluctuations and vibrations caused by the engine block and/or driveline. Communication errors are particularly common with a Bosch 5.3. In addition, complaints regarding the wheel sensors can also be seen. In that case, first check the sensors and magnetic rings for dirt and damage, because in some cases the fault can be solved with a good cleaning.

ACTRONICS works exclusively with car companies, brand dealers and specialists. You need an ACTRONICS account to place an order. Our customer service will assess whether your account is approved based on the information you have entered.
2. Find your part and create an order
Select your vehicle at the top of this page and choose the part number that you can read on the part. Can't read the OE number? Then select the option "OE number is not in the list" on this page. Can't find the part? Then request a quote.
3. Enter your diagnostic information and order details
When you register a revision order, we ask for more information about your diagnosis, such as your observations and/or an error code. This helps us to carry out the revision. After this, you choose your shipping and payment preference and start the order.
4. Packing & shipping
Make sure the part is securely packed so that it is not damaged during transport. Have you chosen our pick-up service? Then we will ensure that the part is picked up from you. This happens on working days (between 08:00 and 18:00) often within a few hours. Have you chosen to ship it yourself? Then bring the package to a parcel point near you. In both cases, you will receive instructions from our customer service.
5. We test the part
We test and inspect your part as soon as it arrives with us. Then we start the revision. Sometimes our test shows something different than the diagnostic information. In that case, we will contact you and share our findings and diagnosis. We only charge test costs for this and no revision costs.
6. We revise the part
Our specialists revise your part. You will receive updates so that you are always aware of the status of your order. If your part has successfully passed our final test, we will ship it to you. If necessary, we will provide additional workshop instructions and tips.
