MG

British company MG (Morris Garages) was founded in 1924 by William Morris. MG initially focused on racing cars, which were particularly appreciated for their quality and low price. However, the quality declined and the good name that MG once had, disappeared like snow in the sun.

To keep the brand alive, versions of Austin were released in the 80s under the name MG. Later on BMW took over MG and the MG RV8 was presented. In Europe, the model was not a great success, but after the Tokyo Motor Show, the Japanese were totally sold. No less than 1500 of the 2000 produced cars ended up in Japan. After MG was sold by BMW in 2000, the brand declined rapidly. In 2005, MG went bankrupt, after its parent company Rover also got into trouble. In 2006, SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation) took over the MG name. Meanwhile, electric cars are sold under the name MG. These are also available in Europe.

We can remanufacture parts for several models of MG:
