BMW ECUs (ECU/ECM/DDE/DME) : we will remanufacture them
BMW might be famous for their powerful in-line 6-cylinder engines, but those are still controlled by an ECU. BMW have selected for a Bosch or Siemens VDO unit for most of the models. Especially the Bosch ECUs of the EDC16 series seem to fault regularly (EDC16C1, EDC16C9, EDC16C35), but we also see the Siemens VDO DME MSD80 being offered for remanufacture. The Bosch units mainly suffer from faults in the injector signals. The Siemens VDO units suffer from different faults.
