Volkswagen ECUs (ECM): we can remanufacture them
Volkswagens are built for the masses, so it is not surprising to see the same ECUs used over and over in different models of Volkswagen. For the diesel engines it is nearly always one of the Bosch models of the EDC-series, like the EDC15P, EDC16U31 or the EDC17CP34. Less common, the Bosch ME7.5 and MED9.1 are used as well. Besides Bosch Volkswagen uses the Siemens Simos or the Magnetti Marelli IAW.
