About Škoda
Nowadays we know Skoda as one of the daughter companies of the Volkswagen Audi Group, but the Czech company was state-owned for several decennia. In 1905 Skoda built their first car, just after Tatra, another Czech company. An interesting fact for the enthusiast: model names like the Felicia, Octavia, Superb and Rapid have all already been used in the past. These names can be found on Skoda models produced before they were part of the VAG group. The new variants have nothing in common with the older models anymore though.
