The cause and the fix

A first important check is to verify that a bad earth connection is not causing your problem. This issue is commonly seen in the (E9X) generation 3-Series. If this is the case, you should pro-actively replace the earth cable.

If this does not resolve the problem, the ABS/DSC unit could be faulty. ACTRONICS offers a remanufacturing solution to address these troublesome fault codes. We take the complete ABS unit, including the hydraulic block, ECU and pump motor and extensively test and remanufacture them.

You can create a remanufacture order form online to send the part into us, we’ll keep you informed of the progress and return the part back to you in a like-new condition at the fraction of the cost with the added reassurance of a 2-year warranty.
