Various Vauxhall models can experience error code P0335. This error code refers to a problem with the crankshaft position sensor and is often read out in Opel engines equipped with the Delphi Delco Multec HSFI-2.x / HDRC ECU (usually the 1.6 liter engine with engine code Z16SE). This error code can lead to reduced performance and even engine failures, and is therefore important to diagnose quickly and carefully.

When error code P0335 occurs, the following symptoms may be visible:
Tip: This problem can be caused by a defective crankshaft position sensor. In the beginning, the error can occur intermittently. Common complaints are the lack of control of the coil, the injectors and the idle adjustment motor. Defects can also occur in the 5-volt circuit and on the accelerator pedal, the throttle valve and the fuel pump relay.
