DF002 is a fault code that can indicate a wide variety of problems with your Renault, but most commonly, it indicates there is an internal electronic fault or a fault within the temperature sensor circuit. Symptoms with Renault DF002 fault code 

The most common symptom associated with this fault code is the ECU's inability to control the throttle valve or the injectors. This can cause the car to go into limp mode with little to no response from the throttle pedal or a failure to start! As a result, the engine management light may be illuminated. 

The DF002 fault code is often seen alongside DF058 (Lambda probe) and DF254 (Throttle valve) fault codes. 

Advice for solving this fault code

First, you must perform some basic checks. Ensure the wiring and connectors are all in good order, and ensure the fault is not caused by the throttle body itself. If these tests reveal no issue, there is a good chance that the fault is within the engine ECU, the Siemens Sirius 34.
