Event Review: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

The Ultimate Celebration of Speed

For its 31st year, the Goodwood Festival of Speed returned bringing fire breathing Formula 1 cars, hydrogen powered prototypes and EVs to the Chichester countryside. With more than 200,000 attendees over the full event, Goodwood continues to draw in the crowds.

Held in the grounds of the Grade 1 listed Goodwood House, the annual celebration was first launched in the early 1990s by Lord March, the Duke of Richmond. His goal, was to bring Motorsports back to the Goodwood estate. His grandfather, Freddie March opened the Goodwood Motor Circuit in 1948, but the circuit closed in the mid-1960s.

Goodwood and the FOS have quickly returned to be a haven for automotive enthusiasts, events like the Festival of Speed as well as Members Meetings and Goodwood Revival which both celebrate the joy and passion of historic motor racing help to keep passion and interest in our industry high.

ACTRONICS & Goodwood

This isn't our first time exhibiting at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, we attended last year and were blown away by the response to our presence and thus made the decision to attend again in 2024.

Our goal as always was to build awareness of not only our brand but also the remanufacturing industry, and how remanufactured parts contribute to a global sustainability in a circular economy.

Our team were on hand throughout the weekend promoting the industry and handing out promotional ACTRONICS merchandise including draw-string bags and branded purple-sunglasses as well as the all-new catalogue. Did you get a pair of our sunglasses? Tag us in a picture on social media!
