What do these Renault fault codes mean?
Fault codes like 20675, 50C3, C10C3 & DF017 often appear independently and alongside each other on a variety of Renault models. They all refer to a similar fault description, "Valve relay, solenoid valves internal fault".
Symptoms associated with these fault codes
When these fault codes are present, the ABS warning light will often illuminate. This, in some cases, can cause a reduction of fluid flow to one or more wheels. Additionally, it can cause the ABS pump motor to run permanently, even when the key is removed from the car's ignition.
The cause of these Renault fault codes
In most cases, these fault codes are caused by an issue with the ABS. We see the faults in models equipped with the dated ATE MK60, but especially in models fitted with the newer Bosch 8 ESP.
