Volkswagen ABS ECUs: we can remanufacture them
Since the ABS became a standard part of the car in the 90s, car manufacturers have never seriously tried to develop their own systems. Manufacturers like Bosch and ATE Teves (now Continental) have always dominated the market. You might think that a car manufacturer like Volkswagen will choose for Bosch, a company located in Germany as well, but we actually see a surprising amount of ABS systems made by Continental. The VW Crafter from 2006 onwards and the VW Polo from 2009 onwards have a Bosch 8 or Bosch 9 unit, all others are Continental.
