ABS-units of Mazda: we can remanufactering that too
When it comes to naming cars in Europe, Mazda has always kept things simple. A few letters and numbers in a logical sequence is enough, so why bother with names? If it says 'MX' in the name, it's a sports car (MX-5 roadster or MX-3, MX-6 coupe) and if it says 'CX', it's an SUV (CX-3, CX-30, CX-5, CX-7). And of course, let's not forget the "RX" series: the faster types with a Wankel engine (RX-7, RX-8). Obvious, right?
The use of ABS ECUs is actually just as clear. Just like many other car brands, Mazda always turns to Bosch or ATE for this. Especially the ATE MK60 is used a lot in Mazda's (Mazda 2, Mazda 3, Mazda 5, Mazda 6). Unfortunately, this type is notorious for problems with the internal pressure sensor. If error code C0044 and/or C1288 appears on the screen, it is almost always a bad thing. But buying a new ABS-units is not necessary: we have developed a revision in which we can repair this pressure sensor professionally. By the way, we also know how to deal with pump engine problems.
